Last week, we caught up with one of our newest UK fitters to join the team, Olivia.

As a passionate equestrian, Olivia has had horses and competed in many different disciplines from a young age. She started her professional career by studying for her degree in Equine Science at Hartpury University; where she took a keen interest in a horse’s biomechanics and how different tack and training aids can affect this.

Since finishing her degree she has continued to follow her passion for horses and has worked in many sectors of the equine industry; in therapy and rehabilitation centres and on professional dressage yards as a rider and competition groom. Olivia has also trained dressage horses right from the backing process through to advanced level.

“By working in such a range of equestrian roles, I feel my experience gives me a great all round knowledge of what horses and riders require from a correctly fitted saddle.”.
